Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart Head To Mexico With The Twins For A Weekend Getaway

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart reportedly went on a weekend road trip with the twins to Mexico despite the couple’s split in June 2014. Could J-Lo and Smart be rekindling their romance?

The group were spotted at a gas station in Calabasas after leaving Los Angeles last Saturday morning, April 4. “Casper” Smart, Jennifer Lopez and her twins Emme and Max were riding in Smart’s white truck which had two jet skis in tow. It seems that the gang was headed for a fun-filled holiday ahead of Easter Sunday.

E News reports that after several hours of travelling, the gang took a break at a San Diego County gas station for snacks and a quick trip to the bathroom. After crossing the border, the group stopped in a small resort by Ensenada. "Casper was very familiar with the area and knew where to go," a source told E News. On Easter Sunday, J-Lo reportedly stayed with Emme and Max and some friends to play indoors while Smart spent the day cruising around with his wave runner.

Jennifer Lopez dated Casper Smart, who is 18 years younger than her, for more than three years after her divorce with ex-husband and father of the twins Marc Anthony in 2011. The ex-couple remained friendly after the break-up and has since been seen together for more than a couple of times, sparking reunion rumours. The pair was even seen kissing nine months after their break-up. Recently, they were spotted leaving a 2015 Kids’ Choice Awards afterparty together.

Rumours also circulated about how the two never broke up and that the report was intentionally leaked for publicity for Jennifer Lopez’ film then, "Boy Next Door." Hoping to get the record straight, an E correspondent asked J-Lo, “Everyone wants to know, we're seeing photos of you and Casper together - are you back together?” J-Lo gave a light-hearted laugh before answering, "I'm single right now, thank you.” Still, everyone can’t help but wonder what her current relationship with ex-boyfriend Casper Smart really is.
