Jennifer Lopez Celebrates Easter And Casper Smart's Birthday In Mexico, Denies Rumors Of Getting Back Together

Former flames Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart fuel more getting-back-together rumors after PDA-filled photos of their weekend getaway in Mexico surfaced in social media. Despite this, the two stars, who headed south with JLo’s twins Max and Emme to celebrate Easter and Smart’s 28th birthday, continue to deny their supposed reconciliation.

Sources claim that the foursome left Los Angeles Saturday morning to head to a small resort near Ensenada. They brought with them two wave runners towed by Smart’s truck as they proceeded to make their way across the border. In Mexico, Smart immediately enjoyed the ocean with his wave runner, while JLo enjoyed an Easter brunch and horseback riding with her kids. The inseparable pair also celebrated the male dancer’s birthday by the beachside, posting photos and videos including one showing them biking along the Santa Monica boardwalk.

Lopez and Smart have been hanging out on a regular basis since breaking up nearly a year ago, and were recently caught kissing on camera after last week’s taping of “American Idol.” They have also been publicly spotted several times which led to speculations of them getting back together. However, the “On the Floor” singer was quick to debunk the rumors. “I am single right now, thank you,” she says in an interview this week, as quoted by Fox News.

Smart backed her up in an interview during the premier of the animated film, “Home,” in which JLo voiced one of the characters. He also denied the rumors of a possible reconciliation despite numerous pieces of evidence that state otherwise. “We got a lot of ties, we’re very close. We’re very good friends,” he insisted.

A source close to the two tells E News that it is understandable that both Lopez and Smart are insisting that the circulating photos and nights out together were nothing more than reflections of a solid friendship, saying that sometimes it is hard to severe ties for good when two people are too involved with each other. “They genuinely like one another, but unlikely they will get back together,” the source revealed.
