Actor John Travolta will be back soon on the big screen.

Weeks of negative headlines have mainly focused on his personal life and not on his return as one of Hollywood's top stars. This weekend, the two-time Oscar nominee is expected to face the media for the first time since the scandal broke as he begins publicity stunts for the upcoming movie "Savages." The actor has been recently entangled in a sex scandal where he was accused of assaulting multiple men.

Travolta's first film since 2010 comes less than two months after the actor was accused in a lawsuit of groping two male masseurs. The case quickly unraveled after Travolta's attorney discredited one of the anonymous accusers by showing evidence that the actor was across the country on the day of one of the alleged incidents.

However, the suit was widely reported by both mainstream and tabloid media. Subsequent stories have even focused on Travolta's sexuality. The actor has not directly addressed the claims but his representatives have consistently denied them.

The "Pulp Fiction" star credits that his partner of 20 years help him get through life's challenges. John Travolta says that he and his wife Kelly Preston can handle anything.

"We've always been stable with each other," John told Extra TV about his actress wife. "We use our communication skills. We understand what is going on in life," he added. For Travolta, the toughest part in their life together, as husband and wife, would have to be losing their son.

"Once we were able to get through that, at times we didn't think we were going to, I think we figured we could handle anything," Travolta shared.

A source that was familiar with the production of "Savages" said to The Associated Press that Travolta's recent public relation difficulties have not altered his publicity schedule or marketing of the film. John Travolta stars in the upcoming Oliver Stone thriller "Savages" about a war between marijuana growers and a Mexican drug cartel.

Travolta portrays the corrupt Drug Enforcement Administration federal agent going up against Mexican drug barons portrayed by Salma Hayek and Benicio del Toro.
