If you are one of the many fans who wonder why it takes so long before other 'American Idol' finalists get their albums out, one of the finalists in the recent season, Joshua Ledet sheds light to this circumstance.

It was with Wetpaint Entertainment that Joshua Ledet talked about the future that awaits alumni like him and the reason behind the long wait for the rest of them who did not make it to the top two.

Even with many offers that come their way, Ledet said that they cannot take too much.

"I think Phillip and Jessica's album has to ship faster than anyone else's, so it's more about getting them out there. They're kind of keeping the light off of everyone else until it's our time," Ledet said during their summer press tour.

However, the soon to be blues singer does not feel bad at all and does not take anything against the 'Idol' bosses of why things are as they are. Ledet believes that everyone has their own time and that they will get the chance to see their dreams come into reality within the perfect time.

This goes the same for another batchmate of Ledet, DeAndre Brackensick, who is also being patient on waiting for the 'Idol' plans for them.

"I didn't do anything (after finishing Idol). My contract doesn't allow me to do anything," Brackensick said.

Just like Ledet, he also believes that there is nothing wrong with waiting and being patient especially when you are completely aware of where you are at the moment and where you are headed.

Their batch's runner up Jessica Sanchez is already signed to Interscope Records and has good news to her fans that she is working on her album.

Sanchez said that she cannot wait to express her true self on the album unlike with what she did for the show when she was a contestant. If she showed up all her vocal prowess in 'American Idol,' Sanchez said that she will show her more urban-like Rihanna sound in her for the album.

Jessica Sanchez's debut album is expected to hit the market by October or November.
