Kelly Clarkson Shuts Off Lesbian Rumours, Continues To Brag New Boyfriend
The very first 'American Idol' winner insists that lesbian rumours about her are all false. In fact, she has found herself a new love to add to her life's inspirations.
It is during her interview with Lucky Magazine that she shared how glad she is with her life, love and career. However, the young singer admits that no matter how good things are going with her llife, she still has to stay grounded to be called a 'true pop star.'
Clarkson was grateful enough to grace the very first issue of the music magazine that will be available in stands by next week.
For the longest time that she was not talked about having a man in her life, the 'Stronger' hitmaker always had to shut off rumours of her being a lesbian.
"I have a boyfriend now, Brandon Blackstock, my manager Narvel's son, Reba McEntire's stepson," she said proudly hoping that this news would finally end the crazy gossips about her.
Adjusting To The Pop Star Life
Kelly Clarkson's career has made a huge comeback especially with 'Stronger' hitting the charts after its release. She is also included in the debut season of the singing contest of ABC, 'Duets.'
Despite all the success, Clarkson believes she has a long way to go in the industry. "The hardest thing about being in this business is just being able to be yourself," Clarkson said to Lucky Magazine interviewer.
In fact, she considers herself more as a country singer than a pop star that her fans ought her to be.
The 'Tomboyish' Girl Back In Texas
One of the most obvious reasons why the lesbian rumours may have emerged is because of the not so feminine gestures of the singer. Clarkson revealed she is at her best even when she wears a simple shirt and a pair of jeans. She does not like growing her nails long like other women her age since she thinks it would feel like Edward Scissorhands.
As for her girly aspect, Clarkson only has to share that she is a bandage dress fan of Herve Leger.
Getting To Know The Boyfriend
On her new boyfriend, Clarkson said that she would not date Blackstock if he turned out to be not like her dad who is similarly a gentleman from the south.
Blackstock is the manager of country singing star Blake Shelton and understands completely how the industry works.
"That definitely makes it easier," Clarkson said in another interview.
