Avalanche Studios’ “Just Cause 3” is going to launch on Dec. 1 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. But of course, players should first be aware of the story of the upcoming action game.
Luckily, Avalanche Studios has got players covered as the developers revealed the first hour of gameplay for “Just Cause 3.” Surprisingly, the first moments of the game isn’t as action-packed as players expected it to be. Hence, it gives players a short background and introduction of the story.
The story of “Just Cause 3” follows Rico and his journey through the Mediterranean island of Medici. The island is home to forested areas, military bases and both poor and rich towns. Rico’s main goal in the story is to oust the island’s sepotic leader, General Sebastiano De Ravello.
In the video seen below, the action starts when Rico climbs on top of an airborne airplane. From there, players get to control Rico as he starts to destroy the city below using an RPG. But Sony does not that what happens in the beginning will vary from player to player but what is shown in the footage is some of the early moments in the game.
With the huge open-world of “Just Cause 3,” players can expect a ton of things to do. These include a plethora of sidequests and collectibles to find.
In other news, VG247 reports that retail copies of “Just Cause 3” have already been spotted in several areas. The game will officially launch on Dec. 1, but some players including several media outlets have gotten their copies already. Some players have even began posting gameplay videos online but Sony is quick to shut them down.
