Justin Bieber Has Re-Recorded His New Album, Says It Will Be A 'Grown-Up Version' Of Him And Will 'Shock' People
It has been almost three long years since Justin Bieber's last album, “Believe” was released in 2012. The Canadian pop star is recording his eighth new album with “Yeezus” rapper Kanye West and Rick Rubin but he has not revealed the release date or title for it yet. His fans may be eagerly awaiting for the release of the album but Bieber is not.
Bieber said in an exclusive interview with Marco della Cava of USA Today that his whole perception of life has changed and it has effected his music in a positive way. The singer has in fact re-recorded his album as the previous version did not meet his expectations. The Canadian crooner is taking as much time as he wants to work on the album so that it reflects his new personality.
“What you are thinking about all the time is what you write, and now that I'm thinking about more positive things, it completely changes my music,” the Canadian singer told USA Today. The 21-year-old wants to tell his story through his new album but at the same time he also wants to “give people hope.” The singer said he “lost hope for a while” and was in “a dark place” but he now believes that life is all about getting out of the negativity and “knowing there's sunshine on the other side.”
Bieber also talked about what kind of songs his upcoming album will have. The singer has written about “growing and being in touch with yourself.” He will also sing about the experiences of his life and how a person can “get back up and keep going.” The new album will be a “grown-up version of Justin and I think people will be shocked,” said the singer. Bieber is “not rushing” his new album and will “just wait until it's totally done.”
The singer said that he was in the company of wrong people and it tainted his beliefs. “I think that's what happened with me, I lowered my beliefs,” added Bieber. He is a different person now, who is more aware about his life and thoughts. The singer has also made a lot changes in his life including getting back in touch with his mother Pattie Mallette and reviving his relationship with his manager Scooter Braun.
