Pop heartthrob Justin Bieber donned a long black wig and a heavy dose of guy eyeliner for an uncanny impersonation of “Prince of Darkness” Ozzy Osbourne. The Biebs pulled off a gothic performance of Osbourne’s 1980s song “Crazy Train” in a teaser promo for Spike’s new show, “Lip Sync Battle.”

The 21-year-old mimicked the rock star’s crazy, wide-eyed look while strutting in his black leather jacket, also showing off his painted nails and multiple rings on his fingers, all while pretending to belt out the tune. However, he did not go full-on Osbourne as he opted not to bite the head off any small animals, which was something the rocker was famous for during the 1980s, Yahoo reported. The performance came less than a week after his “Roast” on Comedy Central.

Bieber and Osbourne actually had shared the spotlight before when they both starred in a 2011 Super Bowl commercial for Best Buy, US Magazine reported. In the ad, the pop star was seen taking over the duties of Osbourne as a cell phone spokesperson and led Osbourne to ultimately deliver his famous line, “What the f---‘s a Bieber?”

However, Bieber was not the only one who took on the challenge of doing an on-point impression. Anne Hathaway also graced the stage as she lip synced Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.” She started her rendition of the song soft and subdued, wearing an all-white ensemble paired with red lipstick, and later on jumped on an actual wrecking ball, just like in Cyrus’ music video. The 32-year-old actress was up against her "Devil Wears Prada" co-star Emily Blunt, who will do the impression later this week.

“Lip Sync Battle” airs Thursday nights on Spike. It is now becoming a show favourite for fans of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” which also features celebrity battles.
