Justin Trudeau yoga pose: Canadian PM shows off impressive core strength in peacock pose [PHOTO/VIDEOS]
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau keeps on giving the world more reasons to love him. The 44-year-old yoga-loving politician showed off his impressive core body strength in an old photo, sending Twitter users’ hearts aflutter.
In the photo, the Liberal Leader rolled out his sleeves to strike a challenging arm balance pose, called the Peacock, balancing on his wrists at the edge of a table.
The image is undated, but the fact that Trudeau himself retweeted it from @gregkolz in 2013 suggests that it is at least three years old. However, the photo has become viral once again when yoga teacher David Gellineau posted it on Facebook.
Mashable noted that the photo isn’t the only reminder that Canada’s highest official is a yoga fan nor was he the only one in his family he could do the Peacock pose. A Google photo search results in an image of the late former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, his father, also doing an impressive Peacock. The old photo is believed to have been taken in the ‘70s.
Trudeau also appeared to love doing yoga with wife Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau in a photo posted by One Yoga in October. Donning suit and shoes, he does a tree pose next to Sophie, who wears a more appropriate outfit for the occasion.
Trudeau has been winning hearts all over the world since being elected prime minister of Canada. His first order of business was to assign a diverse and gender balanced cabinet “because it’s 2015.” He is committed to solving climate change and identifies as a feminist. He wasn’t also afraid to bring out his inner nerd at the Ottawa Comic Con in 2015 (wearing a Superman t-shirt no less!).

But if those are not enough reasons to love him more, maybe his campaign ad poking fun at his hair would.
