Kane has three different looks in 'WWE 2K16'
2K Games has decided to unveil all of Kane’s alternate attires in “WWE 2K16,” which include his current unmasked attire and two classic masked ones. “The Big Red Machine” Kane has been making his presence known in WWE television lately due to his feud with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, so the timing for the reveal was deemed just right.
The minute-long video, which can be seen below, shows Kane making his entrance to the game while his attire constantly changes. It also confirms that Kane only has one entrance in the game, except for exclusive ones that may appear in the Showcase mode.
Kane starts out in his PG-Era Corporate attire but continuously switches between two versions of his 1998 attire and his 2001 look, according to Power Up Gaming. All the attires can presumably be unlocked by playing the Showcase mode, which focuses on the career of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
Austin and Kane had quite the feud in 1998, with the latter beating the former for the WWE Championship in a First Blood Match during the “King of the Ring” event. Austin managed to regain the championship the next night on Raw. Their feud continued past this and even involved the Undertaker.
The inclusion of 2001 Kane is a bit odd though, since Austin and Kane didn’t fight much at the time. However, Kane was the last person “Stone Cold” eliminated during the 2001 Royal Rumble, so it's possible that fans will be able to simulate such event.
Meanwhile, fans hoping to unlock the current “Demon” Kane are out of luck, as the WWE 2K Facebook page has stated that the video already showcases all of his alternate attires. However, fans might be able to recreate the look since his “Demon” attire was in the last game, and it's possible that his mask and outfit have remained in the title's robust create-a-wrestler mode.
“WWE 2K16” will be available on Oct. 27 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Fans who pre-order the game can gain access to two versions of the T-800 from the “Terminator” films, which have been modeled after Arnold Schwarzenegger.
