Kate Middleton sticks to British designer during prison visit
Kate Middleton continued her sartorial elegance in a chic and smart ensemble as she attended to her royal duties. The Duchess of Cambridge paid a private visit to Send Women’s Prison on Friday. She visited the prison to see the work carried out by the Rehabilitation of Addicted Prisoners Trust, which works to help prisoners struggling with drugs and alcohol addiction.
For the visit, Middleton wore a tailored grey dress, featuring long sleeves, a V-neckline and a peplum bodice. She paired it with a matching pencil skirt. The stylish winter silver tweed dress is by London-based label The Fold, Hello reported.
The highlight of the Eaton dress silver tweed was a structured silhouette and an extremely flattering peplum detail at the waist. It also had structured panels and an asymmetric waistline.
The 33-year-old completed her look with Jimmy Choo heels and a clutch bag in a deeper shade of grey by Hobbs, US Weekly reported. She wore minimal makeup and applied a smoky eyeshadow. The Duchess, who recently flaunted a new fringed hairstyle, showed off her new look by wearing her glossy brunette tresses in a chic half up ‘do.’ She kept her tresses styled in centre part.
The visit reflected Middleton’s interest in learning how organisations support people living with substance abuse issues and the impact of addiction within the wider family network, a Kensington Palace spokesman said.
The Duchess of Cambridge returned to official duty after her maternity leave on Sept 18. She visited the Anna Freud Centre in London for her first official engagement. The Duchess opted for a smart casual attire in a Ralph Lauren houndstooth shirt dress, which she paired with a Mulberry clutch. She also debuted her new fringe done by hairdresser Richard Ward.
On the same night, she looked chic in a smart blue coat from premium high street label Reiss as she watched the 2015 Rugby World Cup at Twickenham Stadium in London. She watched England triumph over Fiji along with husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry.
