Kate Upton Talks About Being 'Body Shy' And Also Reveals Her Diet Secrets

Kate Upton is just like one of the girls. The swimsuit model, who is famous for her curves, says she has insecurities about her body just like any other girl has. In her recent interview with a publication, the Sports Illustrated model said that she has been shy about her body too but has accepted herself as she is.
"Every person has insecurities,” Kate is quoted as saying to London Evening Standard magazine. The glamourous model also added that she was given this body so she tries to appreciate it and take care of it every day “as best I can, but I always enjoy my life.” “So I'm not going to let my insecurities stop me from enjoying life," she added.
The brand ambassador for Bobby Brown cosmetics said that she believes in healthy eating and follows a “rigorous fitness regime to stay in shape.” The “Other Woman” actress follows the ABC rule of no alcohol, no breads and no carbohydrates in her diet. Her breakfast consists of a combination of “one whole egg and one white egg scrambled on a bed of spinach." She follows her breakfast with “green juice and handful of almonds mid morning.” Her lunch consists of “grilled chicken, grilled vegetables and quinoa.”
For evening snack, Kate takes a “protein bar,” said the magazine. Her dinner consists of “sashimi of grilled chicken with a kale and cashew salad.” The swimsuit model also indulges in "fried salty food" occasionally but she does not get distracted from her ultimate goal to remain “strong, having the strength to work 10-hour days, and eating healthily." She also cleanses her body with a juice diet for 48-hours before any major shoot.
Another rule she follows for her diet is “if it flies or swims, it's good.” So bacon, red meat, steak and sausages are a big no for Kate in her diet. She does not eat all types of fruits and only like “blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, kiwis and apples.” Kate has curves and she is proud of them. The model-actress feels “happy to be seen as a good example” and says that if she can “help girls who are going through body image issues” that would be great.
