Katie Holmes' split from Tom Cruise shook the world, but new details emerge that the actress has been carefully planning for it all along.

It seems like Katie Holmes has carefully planned out every detail of her escape from Tom Cruise. Even abruptly firing his daughter Belle from her clothing company, weeks before she stunned everyone with the split.

On June 29, Katie Holmes filed for divorce from husband Tom Cruise while he was in Iceland shooting for his new film, "Oblivion." While everyone was shocked, it seems like the decision to leave the actor was carefully planned out by Katie.

New evidence shows that Katie fired Tom Cruise's daughter Belle from her own clothing company, Holmes and Yang. Exact reasons are still unclear. However, it could be concluded that it was because of her plans to divorce Belle's adoptive father, Tom Cruise.

"There was never any trouble between them. Bella called Katie 'Mom.' She was fired out of the blue, and once Katie filed for divorce, it all made sense," a source told Hollywood Reporter.

"This was a carefully planned ambush. Katie didn't want Bella working for her anymore because she was Tom's kid."

Her decision to fire Belle was one of the first brave decisions Katie made to stand up against her husband and the religious organization, Scientology, where the actor is a vocal and devoted member.

"This was a very bold move on Katie's part, but at the same time she knows these are different times and she has more support," Karen De La Carriere, a former Scientology executive said. "Katie ambushed Tom Cruise and in so doing outwitted some of the most controlling people on Earth."

As of the moment, Katie is determined to do whatever it takes to have full sole custody of their six-year-old daughter Suri.
