Katie Holmes And Suri Cruise Have A Playdate, ‘Eternal Princess’ Premiers At 2015 Tribeca Film Festival
Katies Holmes and Suri Cruise had some fun playing dress -up midweek along with Suri’s friends. The “Woman in Gold” actress posted several pictures on Instagram documenting their fun moments while having a ball. The playdate saw the mother-daughter duo wearing same outfits while posing with oversized orange sunglasses and multi-coloured feather boas pulling silly faces, according to E Online.
“#humpDAAAY!!!!!,” Katie captioned the picture. But, the fun didn’t stop at that. Later, the actress posted a picture of many hands wearing oversized rings with giant fake jewels of different colours. “Some serious bling #party city,” she wrote alongside the picture.
Little Suri has actually been having a blast in a run up to her ninth birthday on April 18. Tom Cruise’s daughter had a blast at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards throwing blimp shaped confetti into the air. The little girl was dressed in a denim vest and multi-coloured dress. Holmes has posted a picture of her and her daughter applying makeup together on Instagram. In fact the mother-daughter duo loves to spend time together and even have some fun.
Meanwhile, the actress made her directorial debut with a documentary film “Eternal Princess” on legendary Romanian Olympic gymnast Nadia Comaneci. The premier of the short film was held at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival at Regal Battery Park Stadium in New York City. The 36-year-old actress was all smiles as she made an entry on the red carpet. She looked beautiful in black skinny jeans by Acne, white top and a black jacket by Yves Saint Laurent. She paired her outfit with Michael Kors high heels while her brunette tresses were left loose.
They two women have now become good friends. Katie even brought Suri to play with the gymnast’s eight-year-old son, Dylan Paul at her Los Angeles area beach home. Besides, the actress is gearing up to direct a feature film “All We Had”, a drama about a mother and a daughter living in poverty. The film is adapted from a story by Annie Weatherwax from her debut novel of the same name.
