Fans of Katy Perry are all excited with the March 27th release for her new album entitled 'Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.' She made quick teasers of what they can expect during her interview with MTV News.

Perry gave everyone an idea that most would somehow pick up from her very first single 'Part of Me.'

One of the songs, 'Wide Awake,' is set in mid-tempo track and tells about the need of a lot of empowerment to be able to let go. It goes like:

"I'm wide awake, not losing any sleep/ I picked up every piece, and landed on my feet/ I'm wide awake, need nothing to complete myself," she sings. "I'm wide awake, I am born again/ Out of the lion's den, I don't have to pretend/ And it's too late, the story's over now/ The end."

'Dressin' Up' is another of her songs lined up for release which oozes of utmost sexiness. She described it as something synthy and was produced to be some kind of a grinding song. A part of the lyrics say:

"Oh boy tell me your fantasy/ Tonight's the night/ Tonight I'm gonna come alive/ Make you forget about your nine to five/ Are you ready for your blood to rise?/ Tonight's the night I'm dressin' up for you."

The songs on Katy Perry's new album are described as just mere extensions of his last album but they all sound brand new to stand on their very own too.
