Fans are still in outrage over the news of Kristen Stewart's affair with director, Rupert Sanders.

With the cheating scandal still hot over the web, it has split "Twilight" fans into two. So while fans have their own Team Kristen and Team Robert, Hollywood celebrities too have their say. One close friend of the couple has spoken up and this "Fireworks" singer is surprisingly on Team Robert Pattinson.

The cheating scandal between Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders broke out days after the "Robsten" duo was spotted at the Comic-Con Festival. Both parties have admitted to the indiscretion and released separate apologies. First up was Kristen Stewart who released quite an emotional apology, even dropping Robert Pattinson's name.

"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," said Stewart in a statement to People.com.

"This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry." added Stewart in the statement.

But it looks as if the sorry wasn't enough for Pattinson because days after the scandal broke out, Pattinson had moved out of the house. With fans in outrage over the scandal, one even posting a video on YouTube, sides have been decided. It no longer involves Team Edward and Team Jacob of "Twilight".

It is now a battle between Team Robert - the hurt and betrayed side, and Team Kristen - the cheating and lying side. One close friend of the "Robsten" couple has spoken up and believe it or not, this singer has chosen the side of Robert Pattinson.

Katy Perry has long been known to be in close ties with the British actor, Robert Pattinson. Robert along with Kristen did go on a double date at the last Coachella Arts and Music Festival. Pattinson also joined the "Jelena" duo plus Katy Perry after the "Part of Me" film premiere.

Everyone knows that if someone in Hollywood would know what being betrayed and hurt would feel like, it would be Katy Perry. The "Fireworks" singer suffered a messy divorce at the beginning of the year with comedian, Russell Brand. Like Rihanna being a rock of strength for Perry during her dark times, Perry is returning the favor for Pattinson who is currently undergoing the pain of being cheated on.

"Katy has been a rock for Rob. She has reassured him she is very much there for him just as he was for her when she split from Russell. She has urged him to take a break with her [Stewart]," says a source to The Daily Star.

Well, while some are dubbing it a friendly act, fans all over the world are already pairing the two together with the name "Perrinson". Yet, with the cheating scandal still on the hype, the thought of dating is one thing that is far from Robert Pattinson's mind - even if it is with singer and songwriter, Katy Perry.
