Katy Perry's Grammy 2012 Performance Hits Ex-Hubby Straight To The Heart [VIDEOS]
Every year is certainly brand new for everyone, and this time, most especially for Katy Perry. It was during last year's Grammys that she featured the special footages of her October 2011 wedding with now estranged husband Russell Brand.
That time, she sang a very dramatic version of her song 'Not Like The Movies' with their wedding kiss video being projected in her background as she sat down on a colourful swing. It was very interesting especially since she never allowed any press to get an inside view on her wedding nor did they released any pictures to the press.
Then it all transformed to her cotton candy sweet 'Teenage Dream' performance and dedicated the song to all those who love the sweet idea of Valentines and also to her new hubby then. But this 2012, everything was extremely different.
It was only days after her divorce with Brand was confirmed that she released a new song called 'Part of Me' having lyrics that seemingly serve as message to her ex. And to begin more hot, fiery rage, she became more particular by changing some lyrics like singing: "So you can keep the diamond ring, it don't mean nothing anyway."
And just like usual theatrical-like performances, she appeared in metallic styled jumpsuit with her backdrop bursting in LCD flames.

It only took Perry and Brand to stay together for 14 months and their divorce was just finalized last week. It was just recent news that Brand did not want to take a single cent from the divorce and Perry allegedly signed the said documents with a smiley.
