Katy Perry and Russell Brand are both moving on with their lives apart and keeping busy with their careers. Brand has been reported to have moved out of their home as a couple and that Perry is set to keep the $6.5 million home in Hollywood Hills.

And aside from the home, it seems that Brand will also some of the glamour of the limelight especially with award shows that are coming up around the bend like the People's Choice Awards plus the Grammys. There were rumours that Brand was not invited to the People's Choice event, but according to E! Online, he just turned down the invitation.

It was also last Wednesday when the evangelical pastors and parents of Katy Perry talked about their daughter's separation. Their message was just simply about not being too 'judgmental and critical' of others; and that just like the faithful parents that they are, they are never closing their doors to their daughter.

Perry's father expressed how much he loves his daughter with tears being choked back in. He also emphasized the advantages of having Katy as the celebrity in the family which helped them have a lot of opportunities to share with other people.

Perry was reported to have asked her former husband to file for the said divorce just last month in respect of the beliefs that her parents hold true. Their married relationship only lasted for just a year and two months.
