Many reports confirmed the release of Apple's iPhone 6. While there are no definite dates set yet, general consensus will be around later this year - third quarter. As there are many reports and leaks around, it can be confusing for some to decide what to expect from Apple's next flagship phone. Among the more reliable resources are brokerage firms and analysts. This time, top South Korean brokerage company, KDB Daewoo Securities, has provided their list of Apple iPhone 6 details.

KDB Daewoo Securities has been known for its inside sources. This has been highlighted several times in the past when the company provided its insight on upcoming tech releases. From KDB's report, it shares similar expectations with other sources. However, there are two particular points of interest that makes KDB's report stand out from the rest of the analyses.

Oled-display.net published the company's note to investors last February 3. KDB Daewoo Securities discussed a detailed analysis of Apple and Samsung's upcoming devices. The company saw to it that it detailed down the specs of the Apple's iPhone 6. Looking through the report, KDB sees the main difference in Apple's upcoming phone is its foray into the phablet arena.

KDB noted that the iPhone 6 will either come in 4.7 or 4.8-inch display. Likewise, another edition will be released sporting a 5.5-inch display. The screen sizes agree with earlier reports. Other details noted in KDB's report include full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) and 2K "quad HD" territory (2,272 x 1,280 pixels) for the phablet edition.

Aside from this, KDB predicted similar features to the iPhone 5s like 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB internal storage options, 8MP rear camera, 3.2MP front camera, 2GB RAM including a 1,800 mAh battery. KDB expects Apple to upgrade the chipset to an A8 processor. The chipset will still be based on 64-bit.

One interesting point on KDB's note is that the company expects the iPhone 6 to run on iOS 7.2 instead of iOS 8. Most predictions went for iOS 8. While varying credible sources claim differently on Apple's OS for the iPhone 6, it is best for people to wait for official announcements. Recent reports also highlight the Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC to be a possible venue for Apple to announce further details. People will have to stay tuned.
