Kelly Obsourne Joins Zendaya Coleman On 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards
Kelly Osbourne will be joining Zendaya Coleman at the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards. Osbourne, who resigned from the “Fashion Police,” will be part of the star-studded ceremony to present the awards.
ET Online exclusively reports that the former “Fashion Police” host will grace the red carpet yet again, this time as a presenter of Radio Disney Music Awards 2015. Her friend Zendaya will be the host of the said music-centered event on April 25.
It seems that despite distancing herself from “Fashion Police,” a show designed to critique fashion on red carpet events, red carpet events want Osbourne there. Apart from this upcoming gig, she also just recently handled her first carpet gig and interviewed stars as they arrived on the 2015 MTV Movie Awards on April 12. This is the first time she stepped on a red carpet again after her exit from the E show.
After it was announced that she would be doing the hosting, Osbourne immediately shared her excitement to People. She was after all the TV personality who hosted the MTV Movie Awards pre-show almost 13 years ago. This gig made her come full circle. She implied that unlike her work with “Fashion Police,” she can be creative and innovative on this one, picking her own questions and talking about fun things besides fashion.
On her first post-“Fashion Police” gig, she stood beside co-hosts Josh Horowitz and British singer Jessie J and shared her overwhelmed emotions. "I was 17 years old; it was the first red carpet I'd ever hosted, the first time I'd ever performed and sang in front of everyone," she said. "Let me just tell it, it feels so good to be home,” she added.
Ironic is the word that can be used to describe her upcoming red carpet event with Zendaya. After all, she exited “Fashion Police” allegedly because of the highly publicised bad joke by her “Fashion Police” co-host Giuliana Rancic regarding Zendaya’s hair. The feud is said to be still ongoing. While Rancic denied the joke was hers, saying she just used the material given to her by the network, Osbourne’s recent post about “liars” seemed to have suggested otherwise, even though she did not name names.
