Kendall Jenner Did Not Get Tattoos Because Kim Kardashian Advised Her Not To Put 'Bumper Sticker On A Bentley'
Tattoos are something that most celebrities get on their bodies. But the Kardashian-Jenner sisters are not one of them. Kim did not get her body tattooed as a kid and she inspired her half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie, to do the same. In her recent interview with a fashion magazine, Kylie revealed the reason why Kim did not allow her to get inked.
“My sister Kim always said, 'Don't put a bumper sticker on a Bentley,' " Kendall is quoted as saying to Allure magazine. "I have a really weird thing about 'forever,'” she added. The reality-star turned-model also told the magazine that she wanted the “five seconds” of attention to be only on her when she walked the runway hence she never allowed her elder sister Kim Kardashian to be present for her fashion shows.
The 19-year-old said that if Kim would have been present for her shows, the media would have only focused on her famous sister and ignored her achievement. By not letting Kim on her show, she wanted the media to understand that she is taking her work seriously. The teenager also told the magazine that she was very shy as a child and would always get nervous when she faced camera. But getting on her family's reality show, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” helped her gain the confidence.
Kendall also posed for the magazine wearing a stylish black Versace bathing suit that showed her slim body and flawless complexion. The reality star got clicked in various poses and one of them is with a monkey. Kendall looks gorgeous as she smiles with monkey in her lap. See pictures here.
She also told the magazine that she did not have a flawless complexion as a child and suffered from low self-esteem because of her acne and braces. Kendall said she could never look into any person's eyes as she was too conscious of her own looks. But Kendall is very confident of her looks now. She kicked off her modeling career in 2014 by walking the ramp for designer Marc Jacobs and was later picked up by other designer like Givenchy, Chanel and Balmain.
