Reality TV star Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West mark the first year of their marriage on May 24. Ahead of the big milestone, Kim as well as her family and friends posted a flood of throwback pictures on Instagram to reminisce and look back at the lavish occasion.

Kim started off by posting a group photo taken from her bachelorette dinner party held in Paris. The Kardashian-Jenner family and Kim’s close friends flew to Paris a week ahead of the wedding. They enjoyed some time sightseeing around the city as they made preparations for the wedding ceremony.

The customary group shot in front of the Eiffel tower was also posted before Kim moved on to a photo from brunch at designer Valentino’s chateau. The designer hosted a lavish brunch at his private villa in Paris the day before the ceremony.

Kim and Kanye also treated their friends and family to a private tour of the Versailles palace. The couple arrived in a Cinderella style carriage. Kim posted a photo of the two of them kissing in the carriage and captioned it simply: “Fairytale.”

Kim’s mom, Kris Jenner followed her daughter’s footsteps and also shared some memories through her Instagram page. She posted a video of a firework display that Kanye arranged in Paris. She also shared some snaps from the rehearsal dinner at Versailles.

Kim’s best friend Jonathan Cheban also posted his favourite photos from the wedding week. He also shared a sweet greeting for the couple on their anniversary. He posted a photo of himself with Km and Kanye and said: “Happy Anniversary to Kim and Kanye..a year ago today was the most incredible and breathtaking wedding anyone could imagine.”

The wedding ceremony was eventually held n Fort Belvedere in Florence, Italy. Kim and Kanye shuttled the entire wedding party from Paris to Italy in a last minute surprise location change.

Kim and Kanye have been rumoured to be celebrating their wedding in a vow renewal ceremony at the Eiffel Tower. Km has denied the reports but admits that Kanye always has something up his sleeve. It remains to be seen what he cooked up this time.
