Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson Make 'Forbes' List
Twilight royal pair Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson prove they are truly A-List celebrities by topping Forbes' list of most bankable actors.
The on-screen and off-screen couple have starred in four wildly popular Twilight films, and spawned a cult following that made both Stewart and Pattinson household names.
Their faces regularly appear in magazines, all of their gestures are analyzed, their relationship is endlessly speculated on - but has this notoriously private duo even earned their new-found fame?
Forbes says, yes.
Stewart is named Hollywood's most bankable actress, her films reigning in an average of $55.83 for every dollar she is paid.
Her beau Pattinson ranks third on the prestigious list, earning his films an average $39.43 for each dollar of his salary.
The two stars top the list primarily because the Twilight franchise have become a global phenomenon, raking in the big bucks even with a relatively small budget for production.
Despite the two earning the same salary on the Twilight films, Pattinson ranks slightly lower than Stewart. This is due to his other films ("Remember Me" and "Water for Elephants") that proved to be less successful than the films included in the vampire saga.
Other celebrities included that rounded of the top five are Anne Hathaway in second ($45.67 for every dollar she's paid), Daniel Radcliffe ($34.24) and Shia LaBeouf ($29.40).
This Forbes' nod to Stewart could not have come at a better time in her professional life, after being recently hounded with criticisms.
According to Star magazine, celebrity stylists are refusing to work with Stewart branding her as a "fashion pariah".
"She has grubby nails, ratty sneakers and a bad attitude. Very few people want to work with her because she doesn't want to look good," a source tells Star.
Even her acting chops are routinely bashed. Critic Joshua Gillin writes about her upcoming role when it was first rumored early in the year, and says she has a "terrible, terrible lack of acting ability."
Forbes naming Stewart as a celebrity who makes the most bang for buck shows that despite loud criticisms as of late, hiring the young star is definitely a good investment.
