Kylie Jenner Speaks Out And Addresses Her Fans About The 'Kylie Jenner Challenge'

Reality star Kylie Jenner has recently taken to her own twitter account to address the issue surrounding her lips and the “Kylie Jenner Challenge.” The online craze has young girls and even boys taking up the challenge to use non-surgical strategies to achieve puffy lips similar to Kylie’s. The challenge has received much criticism due to the dangerous lengths young fans go to just to imitate Kylie’s famous plump pout. Needless to say, there have been some disastrous results.

The challenge caught the public’s attention after several botched attempts surfaced online. Photos of kids with heavily bruised and deformed puckers started to show up and the challenge started to turn from something fun into something horrifying. Kylie took to her twitter account to address the issue and share her thoughts. She said:

As such, she has become an icon of pop culture and her constant selfies featuring her enhanced lips have started the viral trend online. Young fans have started the "Kylie Jenner Challenge" to imitate Kylie’s lips without undergoing any surgical procedures in the same way that she claims she is only using makeup to achieve the look.

With some kids going through drastic measures like using empty bottles and vacuum cleaners to plump up their lips, Kylie felt the need to speak out and tell her fans that the way she looks should not be a benchmark for others to follow. She followed it up with an empowering message for her young fans:
