Controversial pop star Lady GaGa has revealed the secret behind her raunchy behavior: her dad. According to "The Sun," the "Edge of Glory" singer said her wild side came from her father, Joe, who used to romp with women outdoors and hired a stripper to teach her the piano.

"He saw a lot of himself in me. My first piano teacher was a stripper. My dad told me later. I used to say to her, 'Why do you have such long nails?' She just said, 'Someday you'll understand why'," GaGa shared.

In her candid interview with American radio presenter Howard Stern, Gaga also revealed that she had once been addicted to cocaine and still smoked marijuana but only occasionally.

"I was for sure addicted to coke. I got off it because my father called me out and kicked my a**," she shared to "The Sun."

Lady GaGa reveals that she too has a rather strange relationship with her father. He reportedly turned her into a "sexy queen" and she shares half of her revenues with him.

Although the article paints a heart-warming picture of their relationship, some of the details are rather unsettling and that something more shady going on. Whatever the case may be, Lady GaGa is another pop star with a bizarre relationship with her parents.

In the majority of GaGa's interviews, her father, aside from herself is the most dominant character. Though GaGa has given alternate versions of her decision to quit using cocaine in 2007, the most consistent one is Joe Germanotta coolly assessing his daughter's downward trajectory with one devastating line.

"He looked at me one day and said, 'You're f**kin' up, kid,' " the singer shared.

Though friends describe GaGa as equally close with her outgoing, elegant mom, her primary relationship seems to be with her dad.

"He is my hero," quips GaGa.

"As much as I want the world to be happy, I just want my dad to be proud of me," the "Born This Way" singer added.
