Latest Leak Bears Rockstar Games' Plan For 'Red Dead Redemption 3' Release
Rockstar Games launched the prequel of "Red Dead Redemption" in 2018 and by far, has hit a new sales milestone of almost 40 million copies. While the game developer has not yet revealed any details about its plans for the series, a new detail about "Red Dead Redemption 3" has emerged online, offering insights about its release.
No one is expecting that Rockstar Games would announce anything related to "Red Dead Redemption 3" anytime soon. However, an industry insider who goes by the name AccountNGT has shared interesting information about the next "Red Dead Redemption" game installment.
On the social microblogging site Twitter, the insider, who accurately leaked about "Star Wars Eclipse," said that Rockstar Games will only release one game for this generation's gaming systems PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

According to them, only "GTA 6" will be released aside from remasters and ports, which includes the next-generation version of the highly successful game "Grand Theft Auto 5."
"If we are talking about new games, then I think only GTA 6 will be released," the insider said when asked by a follower about the number of games Rockstar would release for this generation.
If this is the case, then it is highly likely that "Red Dead Redemption 3" fans could wait for around five or six years before the game developer could announce a new "RDR" series installment. It is worth noting that it is not clear if this information is 100% speculation or an official declaration.
Rockstar Games released only one game for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 generation and that is the "Red Dead Redemption 2." It is unknown at this time if the game developer would follow the same pattern or would release more games for the present game systems generation.
Based on earlier rumors, it is highly likely that the highly anticipated unannounced game "GTA 6" could release for this generation. However, the current global health crisis brought by COVID-19 could hamper the game's development and release.
These details about "Red Dead Redemption 3" as well as "GTA 6" are not official. Fans are advised to take this latest set of leaks as speculative at this stage.
