Microsoft recently announced that Windows 10 would be coming to 119 countries this summer. Along with that, the company also announced various partnerships, one of which was with Tencent, one of the publishers for the popular online game “League of Legends.” With that partnership announced, Microsoft has confirmed that “League of Legends” will be coming to Windows 10.

The move will reportedly be made to reach as many Chinese consumers as possible, since Tencent is the leading company in social networking and gaming services. To do that, Tencent will offer Windows 10 as a free upgrade to users who are currently using Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, which will come with applications like QQ, Tencent Video and Tencent PC Manager.

Polygon has also confirmed two other games from Tencent that will be coming to Windows 10, “Crossfire” and “Dungeon & Fighter.” There’s also a possibility that other games from Tencent will be playable in other devices that will support Windows 10, as it has been stated that Windows 10 will run on the broadest of platforms.

This could also lead to “League of Legends” being playable on other devices that aren’t computers. Currently, the popular multiplayer online battle arena, or MOBA, is only playable on computers like the Windows PC and the Mac OS. It’s still unclear as to what devices will support Windows 10, however.

Developed by Riot Games, “League of Legends” is currently one of the most popular online games. Like most games in the MOBA genre, players choose a champion and lead an army against other players who have done the same thing. The goal is to destroy the other player’s Nexus while also protecting the Nexus the player has. Over the years “League of Legends” has received numerous updates and currently has a wide variety of champions to choose from.

Another game confirmed for Windows 10 is the “Fables” spin-off known as “Fable Legends.” The game will be a multiplayer-centric game where players can choose to be heroes or villains and go on quests. It was announced recently that “Fable Legends” would be a free-to-play title.
