Samsung's third-gen phablet, the Galaxy Note 3, is the subject of numerous leaked reports lately, all embracing a common theme - the oversized smartphone, inside and out, will wow the Android crowd on release date.

The latest Note 3 details, unconfirmed for now, came from TechTastic and perennial Samsung leaker SamMobile. The duo provided a new batch of images that pointed to a slightly redesigned second Samsung flagship.

The report claims that the Note 3 bears the model number SM-N900, sporting a 6-inch HD Super AMOLED screen with a full 1080p resolution. As Samsung vowed earlier this year, its upscale mobile gadgets will allow consumers to move around with a pocket television on their pockets and that would be the Galaxy S4 and the Note 3.

Injecting life to the hulking gizmo, though slim and light at the same time, is a quad-core Snapdragon 800 chip that spins away with a top-speed of 2.3GHz. This CPU flavour enables Samsung to build a hybrid mobile phone that performs tasks in a snap without guzzling down too much battery juice.

The Note 3 promises to be a beautiful workhorse that allows longer operating hours despite its exacting features and components.

As in previous iteration, the S-Pen, which is one of the phone's core attractions, is present and expected to deliver improvements.

The main snapper is equipped with a 13MP sensor, complemented by the camera applications that are on board with the TouchWiz-skinned Jelly Bean 4.2.2. It appears that the Samsung phablet is not an instant beneficiary of the Jelly Bean 4.3 make that Google will likely rollout in the next few months.

The fresh information somehow paints a more realistic rendition of the Note 3, veering away from earlier suggestions that flexible display technology and 8-core Exynos CPU are part of the whole new phablet package.

Samsung is rumoured to unwrap the Galaxy Note 3 on September this year, either via the scheduled 2013 IFA in Berlin, Germany or through its own exclusive event that experts tout as the Episode 2 gadget unveiling.
