Leaked HTC One Tablet Could Change the Game
HTC released a series of gadgets namely HTC One, One max and One Mini. This time, it seems the company wants to explore more opportunities in the tablet market. According to reports, HTC plans on releasing an HTC-One inspired tablet. Can the company compete against tech giants like Apple, Samsung and Google?
Tablets are as lucrative as smartphone these days. Many reports indicated the strong growth of both markets - and there is no stopping their development for the next years to come. As mentioned, HTC will be releasing a tablet based on the design frame of the HTC One mobile handset. It was mentioned before by analysts that it will do HTC well to release a slate based on the framework.
HTC one was already promising. Exploring more capabilities and features through a tablet will highly likely give the company great returns - HTC One has gained positive reviews. A new installment with tablet capacities should provide HTC a boost.
If HTC will proceed with their plans then the HTC One tablet will go against popular slates like Google's Nexus 7, Sony Xperia Z Ultra, Apple's iPad and iPad Mini. Samsung has also joined the ranks of top tablets to consider through their Galaxy Note Series.
Reports also indicated the HTC One slate to have an all aluminum body. HTC seems to be going for a minimalist look. The stereo BoomSound speakers can be found on the front of the tablet. This offers an even chicer appearance.
If HTC proceeds with the all aluminum look, the slate can become a premium offering. Many high end tech gadgets sport all aluminum bodies. Other details include cover made from glass and hard plastic. The leak report also indicated that HTC wants the slate to be simply identified as the larger version of the HTC One.
HTC has not made final announcements about the specs and release of the slate. Nonetheless, the surfacing reports and rumors can be proofs that the company is really pushing through this market. This is not the first time HTC will be venturing into the tablet market. It released the Flyer a few years ago. The Flyer did not sell well. This time HTC is hoping their HTC One inspired slate can do the trick.
