Miami Heat prime shooter, Lebron James, is not only busy for the upcoming season of NBA, he is also busy doing endorsement for Samsung. He stars in the latest commercial for the company's smartphone, Galaxy Note 2.

James "wanted something unique" in his next smartphone, Samsung USA's promotional copy informs us on a YouTube video of the hoops star's current Galaxy Note II spot.

In the TV spot, the popular basketball player plays around on the Galaxy Note II with his family over breakfast, receives an encouraging text from Magic Johnson, video chats with young fans, and watches footage of a spectacular dunk with pals in the barbershop where his barely there hair is being maintained by staff guffawing at the video.

The 27-year-old and three-time NBA Most Valuable Player said that he wanted "something that would turn heads but could also make day-to-day tasks effortless. Something that had all the functional capabilities of a smartphone and all the creative elements of a tablet. With its fine-tuned S Pen, enhanced multitasking functions, and beautiful 5.5-inch Super Amoled screen, the Galaxy Note II was the best of both."

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 boasts a massive 5.5 inch Super AMOLED screen display, which is one of its main selling point since it claimed that it is great for watching videos and movies. The Galaxy Note II runs Google's Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

It also sports Samsung's own 1.6-GHz, quad-core Exynos chip, and has 2GB of RAM. Despite its dimensions, the smartphone remains enviably thin at 0.37 inches and weighs in at 6.3 ounces. It comes in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB variants.

The Galaxy Note 2 is already available in Samsung Stores and via various carriers, which users can avail through flexible plans.
