The game, "The Legend of Zelda: skyward Sword" is the newest update from the string of Zelda games that are already released in the market. Most of the basic elements of the "Zelda" game remain the same in this version though there are certainly marked improvements and some disappointing features.

This game seems to be the origin story for all the series as it focuses on Link and Zelda, the two childhood friends that are living the ideal "happy" lives until tragedy strikes which disrupts their ideal lives and Link must face off against different challenges in order to save Zelda who has gone missing. The narrative for this game is still told with the use of texts. The game begins in Skyloft which is located high in the clouds and every character knows how to master "loftwing", a bird which can be used to fly to other rocks in Skyloft.

There are three major areas that players need to explore. These are Faron Woods (grassy and green area), Eldin Volcano, and Lanayru Desert. There are various native creatures that dwell in these areas and some of these creatures are helpful in the player's mission while some creatures would be a hindrance towards the player's goal. Though there are a lot of fighting activities in the game but the main challenge here is finding the path towards their central temples despite the mazelike environment. The temples that are featured in this game have some of the most "devious puzzles" for this game due to the difficulty factors and the unexpected challenges when figuring out a way in this puzzle.

Another thing that makes this game different from the other Zelda games is because of the way "Zelda" is being portrayed in this game. In previous versions, Zelda is portrayed as the silent princess that was forced to under lock and key. In this version, Zelda is portrayed as a real character and her connection with Link is the main theme of the game. In terms of motion control on the Wii, this issue is not existent with this game because everything is on point.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the longest game in the "Zelda" franchise but some people find it not as rewarding as the dungeon sequences. The game is already available in the market with a selling price of US$49.99.
