Within three days, Windows 8 will make its official debut to the tech world- an event which is awaited by the global IT community. On the same day, several computer manufacturers are also releasing their new gadgets capable of running on the new OS.

Below is a set of benchmark of changes between Windows products like XBOX and Windows Phone and competitive new features versus Mac and Linux.

Two of the manufacturers, Lenovo and HP, have recently announced their gizmos for Windows 8, the IdeaPad Yoga 13 and Envy x2, respectively.

Each has promising features and put new trademark technologies within their new products

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 combines the productivity of an Ultrabook with the touch experience of a tablet, taking full advantage of the Windows 8 functionality. The screen flips a full 360 degrees into four modes that make it easy to create, share, or consume content. By combining those with its long battery life, Yoga 13 provides ultimate versatility for its user.

The new HP Envy x2 PC gives the power of two devices in one. A Windows 8 notebook with a bright, vivid HD Touch display and a tablet that slides off for those times when you want to carry even less.
