Lenovo Unleashes New Miix2 8-inch Tablet, Intel(R) Bay Trail-T Quad Core processor, Windows 8.1 multi-mode device
Lenovo recently unleashed their new Miix2 8-inch tablet running on Windows 8.1. The machine packs an Intel(R) Bay Trail-T Quad Core processor including IPS wide-angle, high-definition display. Lenovo Miix2 follows the original Lenovo Miix. It also features a detachable cover and optional stylus.
The new Lenovo Miix2 only measures 8.35mm thick and weighs a mere 350mg. As the name implies, the tablet features an 8-inch screen delivering 16:10 widescreen experience. The device provides an excellent mix of portability and visual experience.
The 10-point multi-touch WXGA offers 800 x 1280 resolution. It also includes an exceptional 178-degree viewing angle which means people can watch videos and presentation simultaneously. The Miix2 has two cameras: 5MP primary camera and 2MP front camera.
The tablet also caters to people looking for a device that allows fast photo sharing and smooth video chatting. It runs on Windows 8.1 including enhanced sharing and searching features. It also comes with the latest IE11, touch optimization, restored "Start" button and Web-surfing.
Lenovo Miix2 8-inch boasts of Intel(R)Bay Trail-T Quad Core processor following Intel(R) Atom(TM) S architecture. It also uses an integrated Intel HD Graphics (Gen7) with Clear Video HD technology guaranteeing smooth video playback.
The tablet's response rate and speed differentiates it from the rest of the pack on the market. It also ensures users can take advantage of the Windows 8.1 OS. The 128GB of eMMC onboard storage can be expanded up to 32GB through the microSD slot. Users looking for an "on the go" gadget can find the Miix2 an ideal choice.
The Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 is also pre-installed. The program allows people to view, edit and work with their documents as conveniently and swiftly as possible.
