G3, the upcoming flagship Smartphone of LG is rumored to have "water and dust proof exterior", in the likes of Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2, according to reports from The Droid Guy.

Not to forget, Sony is the pioneer in bringing the dust and water resistant feature to Smartphones. Samsung borrowed the idea from Sony and incorporated the feature in their ubiquitous and very popular Samsung Galaxy S5.

Looks like, it is time for other bigwigs in the Smartphone Industry to follow suit. Although Sony is losing their edge here, they might as well be happy to see others mimicking their idea on their flagship products.

Other Interesting Aspects of LG G3:

As reported by The Droid Guy, the other features rumoured to be part of LG G3 are a QHD 2K high-resolution display and a LG ODIN Octa-core Processor.

The latest octa-core version of the processor will have four cores clocked at 2.2GHz and the other four clocked at 1.7GHz, which should give it a considerable supercharge over the LG G2, as per reports.

LG is also rumoured to be incorporating "fingerprint and eye recognition" for its upcoming flagship LG G3.

The Rumored Launch Date:

The German site Giga Android is claiming a "source close to the matter" has quoted a June launch. In any case, we can expect LG G3 to be out sometime in the mid of 2014.
