LG G4 Pro release update: specs and features to expect
After the launch of the LG G4 smartphone, LG is said to release LG G4 Pro by the end of this year. The brand new metal unibody “super premium” flagship LG G4 Pro is expected to have some high-end specs to keep up with the new models from Samsung and Apple.
Korea’s ET News mentioned that LG Electronics is reviewing whether they should apply metal cases on the G4 Pro. The company has decided to launch another flagship device by the end of this year as a way of expanding its presence in the smartphone arena through more premium offerings.
As reported by Forbes , LG G4 Pro may be the phone to rival the rumored upcoming iPhone 6s and Galaxy Note 5. LG G4 Pro is expected to sport a 5.8-inch IPS LCD display screen with a 1440 x 2560 pixel Quad HD resolution and is said to run on the new Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
The LG G4 Pro is anticipated to feature a powerful 27-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus, optical image stabilization, LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera, which is believed to be a huge change if it is true. The phone will be packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and house 4 GB of RAM. The device will have 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage options with expandable memory of up to 128 GB via microSD card slot.
LG is going to maintain a dual-flagship smartphone strategy in 2015, reports Focus Taiwan. LG G4 Pro is expected to be announced in October. It has also been speculated that the company might come up with other versions of LG G4 for the same line of LG G3 Beat and LG G3 S that came out last year.
