LG Nexus 5 Beats LG G2, Nexus 4, HTC One in Benchmark Test but Defeated by iPhone 5S
New rumours on LG Nexus 5 revealed the performance benchmark of the upcoming smartphone. According to the leaked test, the alleged LG Nexus 5 displayed promising result, beating LG G2 and its predecessor - the LG Nexus 4.
LG Nexus 5 under BaseMark X Test
Someone subjected the LG Nexus 5 smartphone under BaseMark X and it displayed marvels against LG G2 and predecessor LG Nexus 4. The current flagship of LG, the G2, scored an average value of 12.53 while LG Nexus 4 garnered an average score of 6.66 points.
LG Nexus 5 got an average score of 14.17 which is slightly higher than G2 but aced against LG Nexus 4, offering more than twice as much performance and speed compared to its predecessor.
When compared to Android running non-LG smartphones, Nexus 5 beats the 7.29 average score of HTC One while Galaxy S4 test results are nowhere to be found.
If you are going to match LG Nexus 5 and iPhone 5S average score performance, iPhone 5S beats the 14.17 points of LG Nexus 5 with 15.54 - still close compared to most flagship smartphones.

Reasons of Promising Results
LG Nexus 5 runs the latest Android 4.4 KitKat or so called Key Lime Pie at Google HQ which features a brand-new system. Due to the optimisation provided by Android 4.4 such as lightweight memory requirements, better multi-core processor support, improved graphics, enhanced battery life, modified app management for smoother performance and polish on the user interface made the upcoming smartphone land on the third place of BaseMark X.
LG Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat are expected to be out in November 1st 2013 but Google hasn't made any official announcements regarding the exact market launching date.
