Premature Sale Goes Online

Google hasn't released the Nexus 5 but some retailers are already posting information such as storage capacity and price about the upcoming smartphone online. Belsimpel, a Dutch online retailer posted the unannounced Nexus 5 and it features no SIM at €460 with 16 GB storage capacity and black colour scheme.

However, the online retailer decided to take down the offers but some may still view it though. Probably, the retailer posted Nexus 5 smartphone as a mistake but no one is sure if they already received a set of stocks ready to be sold soon.

Receiving Nexus 5 Stocks

According to Android Police, Carphone Warehouse claims that they have 3000 units of Nexus 5 while Tweakers claimed arrival of the Nexus smartphone in the Netherlands but recently turned down the story.

Several online posts include the early Google Play Store appearance and an eBay user selling 5 units of Nexus 5 for $650.

User Interface Revealed

Early images of Nexus 5 UI have been revealed online and it features the same interface from Android Jelly Bean except tweaked. Google Drive and Keep are now native apps while Hangouts app becomes an optional unified SMS/MMS client.

Cloud Print and wireless payment feature have been added for Android 4.4 KitKat while palette colours changed the standard blue theme from the previous version. Google focused on features, fixes and performance of the new Android rather than changing how the way it looks.

Nexus 7 Certified

Android 4.4 KitKat is not getting pushed unless Nexus 5 has been launched and thanks to Bluetooth SIG which may have confirmed the approaching date. Bluetooth SIG certified the Nexus 7 and the tablet is getting an update real soon.

Google may be waiting for all certification on their Nexus devices to push Android 4.4 KitKat which is required as Nexus gets exclusive software upgrades. Nexus 4, Nexus 10 and Galaxy Nexus are also receiving updates alongside Nexus 7 tablet.
