LG Showcases LG Pro 2 And G2 Mini At MWC 2014 'Big Time'
Before the Mobile World Congress (MWC), LG has already unveiled LG Pro 2 in Seoul, South Korea during a special press event. It is the company's most recent handset being showcased at the MWC 2014 in Barcelona, Spain.
The LG Pro2 is Optimus G Pro's successor which has notable enhancements like more advanced camera capabilities and faster processor. According to Cnet, LG G Pro 2 is 3.2-inch in width, 6.2 in height and 0.3-inch thick, which comes in three colors: titan, silver and white.
Similar to G Pro, it is massive and houses on its backside the physical control keys like volume buttons and power. The subtle and sheen battery door overlay gives the device a premium feel.
LG Pro 2 is equipped with a 1920 x 100 pixel resolution and pixel density reduced from 400 ppi to 373 ppi. Some users during hands-on said the downgrade is not noticeable as sample HD videos taken show images that were bright, clear and crisp.
"Not Small" LTE LG G2 Mini
LG G2 Mini is another device that LG debuts, which is an LG G2 replica with a 4.7-inch wide screen compared to G2's 5.2- inch. With LG carrying the other features, the G2 Mini would be a gem. The screen resolution is reduced, including the memory, camera, battery and processor because it is simply a competent midrange.
LG G2 Mini will arrive in Russia, Latin American and Asia in March. It will be in dual SIM and 3G versions. Then it will arrive to Europe. The Mini G2 LG LTE runs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB storage and microSD, 1.2 GHZ Snapdragon 400 quad-core, 8 MP camera and a 2440 mAh Li-Po battery. It weighs 121 grams and has 129.6 mm x 66 mm x 9.8 mm dimension.
Knock Code
LG 2 features Knock Code, which talks about tapping opening the screen as if it is a door. Knock Code follows LG G2's Knock Knock, which unlocks the smartphone by screen tapping. The difference between Knock Code and Knock Knock is the sequence of touches. Knock Code will be in LG G Pro 2 and will have 86,000 combinations.
