LG unveils 2016 monitors and laptops ahead of CES 2016
LG announces to launch a lineup of products including monitors and laptops at the CES 2016. The South Korean tech conglomerate will come well equipped at the trade show with UltraWide monitors, 4K gaming monitors and ultra PC gram laptops.
“We are always thrilled to be able to show international audiences our newest monitor and PC innovations at CES,” said Jang Ik-hwan, head of the monitor and PC division at LG Electronics, in a press note.
“LG is always innovating to exceed customers’ expectations by creating products that provide breathtaking aesthetics and unparalleled user experience,” added Jang Ik-hwan.
The company claims that all the products are “designed for maximum productivity and entertainment for today’s demanding power users.” The products are designed to cater to a wide range of users ranging from gamers to digital and multimedia professionals.
LG will introduce its proprietary color-enhancing IPS display technology and quite a few revamped design elements in its 2016 monitor lineup. The near invisible bezels and an elegant ArcLine Stand further enhance its excellence, says LG.
At CES 2016, LG will showcase the latest 34-inch 21:9 UltraWide QHD monitors (model 34UC98) with a resolution of 3440 x 1440. The monitors also feature Thunderbolt 2.
LG is here to revolutionise the gaming experience. The company also brings in the Ultra HD 4K Monitor (model 27UD68) with AMD’s advanced FreeSync technology for an incredibly fluid gaming experience.
There is also something in store for creative professionals. The 27-inch LG Ultra HD 4K Monitor (model 27UD88) sports the USB-C port technology. The device allows the user to simultaneously charge a laptop and transfer data at USB 3.0 speeds. The monitor can be used as a power bank and comes with colour presets enabling the users to adjust the image depending on the content.
The company has also come up with its large 15.6-inch laptop with a 6th generation Intel Core processors and Windows 10 on board. The device weighs just over 2 pounds, reports Engadget. LG’s booth at CES 2016 is at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Central Hall. The products will remain displayed from Jan. 6 to Jan. 9.
