The mysterious LG V510 could be the rumoured Google Nexus 8 after all, according to tipster @evleaks.

Google may have a renewed partnership with LG Electronics through a device with a codename of LG V510. @evleaks asserted that the aforementioned device is a Nexus device by attaching with a photo of a database entry that says "USG/GOOGLE_OPEN_16G (UNITED STATES)" along with the product code under "buyer" to serve as proof.

Google worked with LG in making its popular smartphones - Nexus 4 and Nexus 5. If the LG V510 is indeed the Nexus 8 tablet, it may rip off some of specs and features of the LG G Pad. The LG G Pad features 8.3-inch screen display with 1,920 x 1,200 pixel resolution, a 5 MP rear camera, 1.3 MP front-facing camera, 2 GB of RAM and a 4,600 mAh battery.

This is not the first time that LG V510 was speculated as the Nexus 8 tablet. Earlier this month, reports revealed a new Service Manual of the LG V510 emerged online showing some of the tablet's features similar to that of LG G Pad.

Moreover, it seems that Google hinted that the Nexus 8 is coming, as a photo of the alleged Nexus 8 was spotted on the updated Android's "Apps & Entertainment" page last month. In the photo, a lady is holding a tablet that appears to be neither the Nexus 7 nor Nexus 10. The device is definitely running with Android 4.4 KitKat OS. However, Google quickly altered the photo and replaced it a similar image but with the lady holding a Nexus 7 tablet.

Rumours claimed that the Nexus 8 tablet is Google's replacement to the missing successor of Nexus 10. However, Google still has to confirm its roadmap for the rest of the year and the devices it will release.

Other speculations based on a concept image of Nexus 8 claimed that the Nexus 8 tablet will pack a quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz and a separate Adreno 320 graphics chip. It will run with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. The price of the device may start at $199 for the 8 GB variant.
