LG Electronics has come out with new Tablets --LG G Pad 10.1 and LG G Pad 7.0 and they are being released for sale in all leading markets, reported Wall Street Journal. These WiFi enabled tablets run on Android 4.4 KitKat and flaunt a simplified User Interface. Both tablets share many common features including Knock Code and Smart Keyboard.

In this duo, G Pad 10.1 is the largest. Both the tablets feature a 1280 x 800 pixel display and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

Converging Experience

According to Morris Lee, senior vice president consumers are looking for a convergence of experience between smartphones and tablets. This new range of tablets is trying for seamless compatibility with premium devices to provide a connected lifestyle.

Price

The LG G Pad 10.1 will be retailing at $249.99 and LG G Pad 7.0 will retail at $149.99. Both will be available at BestBuy and Newegg.

LG G Pad 10.1 will come in Black and Red while the LG G Pad 7.0 will have Black, White, Luminous Orange and Luminous Blue as colours.

Better Productivity

The new tablets boast of simplified UI with nice aesthetics and flat icons grouped together for easier navigation. This will make consumers more productive on these tablets.

User Friendly

The Smart Keyboard is meant for ease, speed and accuracy of hand. It will reduce input errors by tracking typing habits and what word the user intends to type. The keyboard can be adjusted in terms of height to fit the user's hands and position the thumbs giving a new tablet experience.

QuickRemote

The new G Pad series also features QuickRemote in helping people to pair and use tablets as a universal remote to control multiple compatible electronic devices including TVs and home appliances.

3D Tablet with Google Project

According to a report in the Wall Street journal by Alistair Barr, LG is preparing to launch a tablet that captures 3D images. This will be part of its association with Google Advanced Technology and Project or ATAP. In all probability, the gadget may be up for sale in 2015.
