Logitech Launches The K480: A Keyboard That Can Be Connected To Three Devices
The Logitech K480 is a bluetooth keyboard that can be connected to three devices. This will allow users to enter texts on all three devices simultaneously with just flipping the switch. The K480 has a hand dial on the left side to allow users to switch from one device to another devices via bluetooth. Users can easily use it on a Windows, Mac, Android or iOS.
The K480 is not just for user's iPad and it is something that can be brought along, according to ZDNET. It can work with operation systems after Windows 7 for PCs and for Macs, it can work with Mac OS X or later. The new keyboard can also work with Chrome OS, iPads or iPhones having iOS 5 or later.The K480 can work with any tablet or smartphones having Android 3.2 OS or later.
Users do not need to worry about changing the batteries too often since the K480 is powered by two AAA batteries that Logitech claims to last up to two years with heavy usage as it defines as 2 million keystrokes per year. The Logitech K480 costs $50 which is an acceptable price for an accessory, according to TechCrunch. It is reported to look like a table maker that will be great to use for developers so that an easy switch from using a dev hardware to its main computers and back can be made. Users can choose to have the black or white variant and it it is reportedly to be available later this month.
