Logitech had announced the “biggest brand transformation” in its history by renaming its brand as "Logi" on July 8. Under its new brand name the company has unveiled its new Logi BLOK iPad cases.
Featuring cushioned square corners that protect the iPad from drops up to 6 ft high and onto hard surfaces, the Logi BLOK family comprises of Logi BLOK Protective Shell, Logi BLOK Protective Case and Logi BLOK Protective Keyboard Case. The three different cases are likely to be available in the U.S., Australia, New Zealand and select countries in Europe in early August.
The Logi BLOK Protective Shell, which is designed for iPad Air 2 and all models of iPad mini, sports a protective shell with a screen protector that prevents the screen from getting scratched. The Logi BLOK Protective Shell is available in black, red/violet or teal/blue at $39.99.
Logitech’s new line of cases also includes the Logi BLOK Protective Case for iPad Air 2 that not only provides the same protection as the Protective Shell but also adds an any angle stand that holds an iPad firmly at any angle within a range of 50 degrees. The Logi BLOK Protective Case is available in black, red/violet or teal/blue at $69.99.
The new line-up also includes the Logi BLOK Protective Keyboard Case for iPad Air 2, which is an all-in-one iPad case with four modes. It offers multiple functionalities. Users can use it as a protective shell for reading or browsing the Web, with its any-angle stand makes for hands-free viewing. Besides that, users can also type using the wireless, attachable or detachable keyboard that doubles as a screen cover. The keyboard comes with a row of iOS shortcut keys to ensure comfort while typing. According to a report on 9 to 5 Mac, the BLOK Protective Keyboard connects via Bluetooth, which ensures users can type even if they do not have it physically attached to the case. The Logi BLOK Protective Keyboard Case is available in black or teal/blue at $129.99.
