Louis Tomlinson talks about fatherhood on ‘America’s Got Talent’ set
One Direction member seeks joint custody of baby Freddie Reign
Louis Tomlinson may be the first member of popular boy band “One Direction” to father a kid, but the experience proves to be an “incredible” one for him.
Tomlinson shared his thoughts about fatherhood with “Spice Girls” member Mel B while on the set of “America’s Got Talent" 2016. The 24-year-old British singer-songwriter appeared on NBC’s top-rated reality show as a guest judge for the third segment of Judge Cuts.
“I didn’t think I’d be having a kid at this age, but it is incredible,” Tomlinson told Mel B, his facial expression showing his sincerity.
Various media earlier reported about Tomlinson’s move to seek for joint legal custody his six-month-old son with ex-girlfriend hairstylist Briana Jungwirth. He is reportedly aiming for joint physical and legal custody, as well as equal time to spend with Freddie Reign.
Proud dad
Tomlinson has been candid and proud about how fatherhood has changed him. He even updated One Direction fans about how he enjoyed celebrating his first Father’s Day on Instagram.
"Happy Father's Day to every lucky lad out there who's someone's daddy! Thoroughly enjoyed my first. Love you Freddie son X,” his caption reads.
