LTE Variant Of ‘Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5’ To Debut In T-Mobile On Dec. 10
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 tablet with LTE support will be released by T-Mobile very soon. This device can be purchased without down payment and 24 monthly payments of $27.08 under T-Mobile contract, and this plan is available from Dec. 10 onward. Notably, the grand total price of the device is $649.92.
Back in June, the Wi-Fi only variant of the 10.5-inch Galaxy Tab S was launched in the U.S., alongside the 8.4-inch Galaxy Tab S version. Now the LTE Galaxy Tab S tablet will be part of the holiday lineup of Android devices from the carrier. Potential buyers should note that the LTE variant is a replica of the Wi-Fi only model when it comes to specifications, notes Phone Arena.
As far as the key specifications go, the 10.5-inch Galaxy Tab S comes with a Super AMOLED display complemented by a killer resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. The handset is powered by an octa-core (Samsung's Exynos 5420) processor, clocked at a combination of four 1.9 GHz Cortex-A15 and four more 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 cores and backed by a solid 3 GB of RAM. On the software side, the device runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS along with Samsung's TouchWiz UI.
In terms of camera configuration, the Tab S sports an 8 MP rear-facing camera unit with LED flash and HDR, in addition to a 2.1 MP front-facing snapper. Moreover, there is a choice of 16 GB or 32 GB of built-in storage and microSD card support for expansion up to 128 GB. Even though the device does not support NFC, it does have an Infrared port aside from the standard connectivity options.
Known as one of the thinnest devices, the Galaxy tab S is only 6.6 mm thick, and it weighs 467 g. The tablet is housed with a fingerprint scanner for unlocking the device. Lastly, it has a whopping 7900 mAh battery.
Apart from the LTE Samsung Galaxy Tab S, T-Mobile will also sell the LTE variant of Google Nexus 9 without down payment and 24 monthly payments of $24.99 shortly. Are you interested in purchasing either of the two killer tablets? Feel free to leave a comment.
