Lumia 1330 May Replace The Lumia 1320, Expected To Come In Dual-SIM Edition With 5.7-inch Display, Wireless Charging, 14 MP Cam And New Battery
The Microsoft Lumia 1330 is rumoured to be the name of the successor model for the Nokia Lumia 1320 which was released in January 2014. The unannounced handset is expected to get unraveled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) event that will be held in March 2015.
According to WMPoweruser, two variants with model number RM-1066 and RM-1067 has been spotted at FCC regulatory body. It claims that the Lumia 1330 will be released in two variants. The Lumia RM-1067 will be a dual-SIM handset whereas the Lumia RM-1066 will support single-SIM. Both the phablets will support CC-3090 Optional wireless charging rear panel.
The Lumia RM-1066 as well as the Lumia RM-1067 are speculated to come with features like 5.7-inch HD display, Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1 GB of RAM, and internal storage of 32 GB. The major upgrade is expected to come to the main and secondary camera. The rear will sport a 14 MP shooter whereas the front side will house a 5 MP camera. The Microsoft Lumia 1330 is also rumoured to come preloaded with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 and it will feature the new BV-T4B battery.
According to AdDuplex database, four variants of the speculated phablet have surfaced namely RM-1062, RM-1063, RM-1064 and RM-1065. The FCC documentation reveals references of Lumia RM-1062.
Nokia had rolled out the Lumia 1320 in three variants. The RM-994 which is a global edition handset, the RM-995 is an LTE version handset and the RM-996 edition only supports 3G connectivity. The Lumia 1320 is a phablet device with modest specs. Its 6-inch display only supports HD resolution and comes with a low-end Snapdragon 400 chipset that includes a dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300 processor along with Adreno 305 graphics. The internal storage of the handset is 8 GB and it is equipped with 1 GB of RAM.
The front side of the Lumia 1320 features a VGA camera and at the rear there is a 5 MP camera. Powered with Windows Phone 8 OS that can be upgraded to Windows Phone 8.1, the handset features a massive 3400 mAh battery.
