Lumia 532 vs Lumia 535 – What Sets These Low-Cost Smartphones Apart
Microsoft Lumia 532 is the newest budget smartphone from the Redmond based tech giant. Very recently, Microsoft had unveiled the Lumia 532 with another entry-level smartphone, the Lumia 435. In the market, there is couple of inexpensive Lumia smartphones with modest hardware specs. Among them, the Lumia 532 and the Lumia 535 are the newly announced devices with similar specs. Here is a comparison between the two to know what sets them apart:
Design And Display
The Lumia 532 has a thickness of 11.2 mm and weighs 136 g whereas the Lumia 535's thickness is only 8.8 mm but weighs 146 g. With dimensions measuring 140.2 x 72.4 mm, the Microsoft Lumia 535 is slightly bigger than the Lumia 532 that measures 118.9 x 65.5 mm
The display of the Lumia is of 4-inch and supports a display resolution of 480 x 800 pixel with a pixel density of 233 ppi. The Lumia 535's bigger display of 5-inch offers a higher resolution of 540 x 960 pixels with a pixel count of 220 ppi.
Processor, RAM, Storage And Software
Both the Lumia 532 and the Lumia 535 are featuring the low-end Snapdragon 200 chipset that contains 1.2 GHz Cortex A7 quad-core processor and Adreno 302 GPU. Both the devices also come with 1 GB of RAM and an internal storage support of 8 GB. Moreover, these handsets support up to 128 GB of microSD card on external storage and come preloaded with Windows Phone 8.1 OS along with the latest Lumia Denim update.
Camera, Battery And Price
There is no front-facing camera on the Lumia 532 but the Lumia 535 comes with a 5MP selfie camera. On the rear side of the Lumia 532 and Lumia 535, there is a 5 MP camera with LED flash. The Lumia 532 is packed with a smaller battery of 1,560 mAh while the one powering up the Lumia 535 is of 1,905 mAh.
The Lumia 535 is expected to arrive in U.S. and Australia with a price tag of $135 and AU$160, respectively says CNET. The Lumia 532 will be priced cheaper with a price tag of $100 in the U.S. and AU$120 in Australia.
