MacBook Pro 2013 will pack Haswell processor and Full HD camera, according to an analyst.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said in his latest note to investors that the MacBook Pro 2013 will pack the latest Intel processor to boost the computing power of the device as well as its battery life. Mr Kou's prediction is not really far off. Apple already packed the same processor in recently updated MacBook Air and iMacs.

The Apple laptop will also feature a full HD camera to improve the Facetime quality on retina display as well as video conferencing. The influx of full HD technology is evident in most devices. It seems that Apple has been trailing behind on this, but the company may finally pack the great camera to its laptop.

This echoed Apple's attempt to widen its reach in the business and education sectors, since these two features will be most likely beneficial to the said target markets.

Mr Kuo is considered a reliable analyst when it comes to his predictions about Apple. His speculations in the past were often proven to be correct.

Meanwhile, a 9to5 Mac report said that consumers should also expect PCIe SSDs and 802.11ac networking that were seen in MacBook Airs and iMacs as well as battery life that can last up to 10 hours.

Last week, reports claimed that the new MacBook Pro 2013 will include support on 4G LTE connectivity. Different reports claimed that Apple should look into using LTE connection, as more networks are expanding such technology and LTE plans are more affordable.

Apple's rivals have already adopted such feature, and it seems Apple will not be too far behind. Patently Apple published that Apple filed a patent for an LTE-enabled MacBook Pro last year.

The MacBook Pro 2013 is expected to be launched on Oct 22 at the Yerba Buena Center of the Arts alongside Apple's tablets - iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2. The press invite for the upcoming event has a tagline "We still have a lot to cover," which hinted that more Apple devices will be unveiled on the said date. Although Apple provided no hints on the details of the event, reports said that Mac Pro and OS X Mavericks will make an appearance in the event, too.

Speaking of OS X Mavericks, the much awaited Apple laptop will supposedly boast this new Mac OS. The new Mac OS will feature "a new Maps app, a tabbed finder, iBooks, new look to the calendar, improved Safari, iCloud Keychain, multiple displays and more." Moreover, the device is expected to pack better graphics chip processor and Sharp's IGZO technology to improve its retina screen display. These alleged features will make the MacBook Pro 2013 one of the must-buy laptops in the market.
