'Man of Steel 2' Costumes Reveal Pushed Back To March? Seth Green Expressed Disappointment on Casting Ben Affleck as Batman in Movie Sequel
Initial reports claimed that the more conservative "Man of Steel 2" costumes for Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman are just days away from being revealed. However, Forbes film blogger Mark Hughes revealed on Twitter that the first look at the superhero suits has been pushed back due to the delay in filming the movie sequel.
According to the Design & Trend report, Mr Hughes posted on his Twitter account @markhughesfilms about the Bat-suit reveal being pushed back.
Okay update time: I've been hearing the MOS sequel will likely start filming around the end of March (as most of you've prob heard)...

Initially, Mark Hughes already tweeted about the filming to be delayed but the costume reveal has been originally planned "in the next 10 to 12 days or so." The film blogger's recent Twitter post estimates that the Bat-suit and Wonder Woman costume reveal will be dropped as magazine cover before or around the start of "Man of Steel 2" filming.

Meanwhile, another basher expressed disappointment on the "Man of Steel 2" casting choice. Actor and comedian Seth Green appeared at Ora TV's Larry King Now and slammed the decision to cast Ben Affleck as Batman in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman flick.
"If this movie is meant to be the idealistic alien, humans before all else Superman, and this is supposed to be the grizzled weathered Batman who's been living in Gotham, fighting crime himself for 10 years, you need a guy who's older. You need a guy who's got more weight. You need a guy that a Henry Cavill Superman is gonna be actually scared of," Seth Green explained in another report from Design & Trend.
Mr Green further pointed out in the interview that actor Ben Affleck may have the acting chops but he "simply doesn't look the part." The actor stated: "Yes, but there is only so much you can act a role before people are or are not going to believe you in that role. I'm never going to play a MMA fighter, because I'd step into the ring with an actual MMA fighter like Batista, and I wouldn't look correct, so there is a physicality of it."
Despite the casting criticism, director Zack Snyder still defends his casting choice and supports Ben Affleck portraying Bruce Wayne/Batman. The "Man of Steel 2" director previously declared that he believes Ben Affleck can pull off the character since the 41-year-old "Argo" star has the experience that can "paint the picture of an older and more advised man than Clark Kent, who bears the scars of a seasoned vigilante while retaining the charm that Bruce Wayne deploys when present in the world."
"Man of Steel 2" is scheduled to hit movie theaters on May 6, 2016. The movie sequel stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as villain Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
