Massive ‘H1Z1’ update rolls out, adding new female zombie and many more
Developer Daybreak recently launched an update to its zombie infested survival MMORPG “H1Z1.” After the massive update, players will have access to more features, areas and a new enemy they could face in the game’s vast open world.
The update will give players access to a new mode of exploring the game’s apocalyptic open world; an All-Terrain Vehicle or ATV, Dual Shockers reports. The update will also add a new location to explore called the Kurama Medical. The new area will be jam-packed with things to do, zombies to kill and items to hunt.
Another new addition the update will bring to “H1Z1”is a feature called the Item Exchance System. It will allow players to create bundles of items for trading. It can also allow players to acquire extremely rare items attainable only through trading. Also, if players trade enough items, they can be elligible to receive a rare mercenary and vigilante crate which holds rare suits and skins.
Perhaps one of the biggest changes made in terms of gameplay is the addition of the game’s first female zombie. Surprisingly, despite being online for years as a Steam Early Access game, Daybreak is yet to include a female zombie. IGN reports that the zombie will be voiced by popular Twitch streamer, LegendaryLea. The first female zombie isn’t stronger, faster or anything special compared to male zombies, it is just an aesthetic feature being added to the game.
There is an onslaught of changes being made to the game, this could signal that “H1Z1“ is nearing the final stages of development thus pushing it out of Steam’s Early Access. Aside from the stated additions, Daybreak will also make core gameplay changes to “H1Z1.” Some gameplay changes include a new user interface, new animations, NPC behavioural changes and some fixes on user complained issues.
